i was working at home and in tea break; i shoot this;

This is an original shade at wooden table; i was having tea and noticed the cup’s shade at table; it poke my cam eye to arrange and shoot this;

it took me nearly 35 min to set both objects; curtain, sofa and other things at background and a perfect angle to capture this; the camera is almost 2.5 feet high and i have to sit at ground in a certain position to make this angle possible;

this is one of nine images i took to finally have this one;

Anonymous Tomb Near Samanabad Lahore;

Front view of tomb

I had a different script in my mind for this post; I had captured this placed it 6 7 months back at hot mid noon of June; But when i start digging history to know about this tomb i was really surprised that there isn’t any concrete info available for the personality rests there; According to those who lives nearby, this is a tomb of princes Zeb-un-Nissa, daughter of Mughal emperor “Aurangzeb” (known as Alamgeer); Is this myth or true history that was doubtful; I searched over internet, read mughal history, use google map to see if someone marked that tomb related to some personality but all in vain; Few lines replicated by many (from local writers) tell us that this is tomb of princes zeb-un-nisa else no historical evidence one can find.

My saunterer soul led me to the department of Information Culture and Tourism & Resort Development Department of Govt. of Punjab to see their records; i went to history department in University of punjab; Everywhere it is marked as mausoleum of princes zeb-un-nisa; Read the rest of this entry »

I will be right here waiting for you

Posted on

A lovely song .. but a sad one..

Oceans apart day after day
And I slowly go insane
I hear your voice on the line
But it doesn’t stop the pain

If I see you next to never
How can we say forever

Wherever you go
Whatever you do
I will be right here waiting for you
Whatever it takes
Or how my heart breaks
I will be right here waiting for you

I took for granted, all the times
That I though would last somehow
I hear the laughter, I taste the tears
But I can’t get near you now

Oh, can’t you see it baby
You’ve got me goin’ CrAzY

Wherever you go
Whatever you do
I will be right here waiting for you
Whatever it takes
Or how my heart breaks
I will be right here waiting for you

I wonder how we can survive
This romance
But in the end if I’m with you
I’ll take the chance

Oh, can’t you see it baby
You’ve got me goin’ cRaZy

Wherever you go
Whatever you do

I will be right here waiting for you
Whatever it takes
Or how my heart breaks
I will be right here waiting for you

Master of the Game :: Book Review

Posted on Updated on

copy of novel i have.

i have been planning to write about this novel from many days but couldn’t find enough time; Though i post many other things during that but whenever i tried to focus this book, what happen next? i open it from some random place and start reading again; The most interestingly it took me nearly two years to finish it first time; I read it in many sittings, with very slow pace; But once its done, revised many times. One of two novels i really liked. One is The Alchemist and other is Master of the Game.

Master of the Game is a novel by Sidney Sheldon, first published in 1982; Spanning six generations in the lives of the fictional MacGregor/Blackwell family;  It starts from Kate Blackwell’s ninetieth birthday celebrations in 1982 and then we move in past, back to a century;

The best thing i found in this novel, and infact all other work of sidny, is that the story move at a constant and fast pace. No long complicated dialogs, after every few pages you find a turn that put you more inside the novel;  Same in Master Of the Game, Sidny covers lives of six generations in such a way that at every step the curiosity to get to know the next turn increases. I’m sorry i can’t give references from story because its all worth to read; Don’t want to lessen the charm of the story.

the date when i had this novel; next two images shows start and end of the novel; in between we pass 6 generations; click to enlarge.

In first term, the end wasn’t as per my expectations; Infact in reality i was lil disappointed. I was expecting some big turn from sidney’s unique style of story weaving .i.e. making unpredicted things to happen in jaw dropping fashion.  But after 2 3 revisions it start looking exactly same as it should be; What it was i’m not going to tell, you must read it till end and i’m sure if you start once you will not give it too much time to end.
