What 2k10 taught me for 2k11;

Posted on Updated on

From last 3 4 day, Im surrounded  by same type of things; Same texts, emails, blog posts, rss feeds etc; Its all nothing but about new year, new year wishes, new year resolutions and new year celebrations; And finally its now displaying on our calendars;

I was thinking to write something about new year but wasn’t sure what to write; I really hadn’t any idea; What to do!! just greet kind visitors of web corner with some elegant image/wallpaper having nice caption, or write my new year resolutions or to write something different; Plus I’m not too good in writing something; It took whole my time and hours of second January has just near to end; Now Im writing these lines for you;

Many people write about their plans in next year, or in other words new year resolutions; Like what they want to accomplish? What are their dream they wish to fulfill? You will have tons of messages having same theme; Its really good that people get prepare for the time thats in front of them; They have their ToDo for next year; Sometimes consist of many, sometimes only one/two spanning whole over year; Its good to have such starting point where everyone is excited about their plans, ready to execute them and dreaming about their fruitful results;

But what i wonder about? How many among us REALLY carry their plans? How many among us really audit their-self to review the progress of their plans? How many among us really keep an eye over the direction they are going with respect to the resolution(s) they made at start of year with full zeal & zest; Can we mark those ToDos as “completed” we listed down last year? Think twice to answer, and answer it honestly, really honestly; The circumstances might not be favorable but your efforts actually counts; How many marks out of ten you give yourself for the efforts you put to achieve your last year resolution?

I’m not going to make any new year resolution; My goal is very clear; Though there are many milestones in between; For here, i decided to share some of the lessons i learned from my life; Its important that one may not be 100% agree with them, or even might be i’m not able to describe them as much perfect as what i actually want to say; But these are few things i exercise daily, and i really felt a change in my life having them; You have complet rights of criticism; It may give me new direction to see and understand things;

Don’t ever conclude by first chunk of knowledge;

Never ever jump to conclusion at once; Don’t pass a statement or take an action after knowing something, directly or indirectly related to you; It either in favor of you or not but don’t react at once; Don’t start joining different past things/events to justify them on the basis of what you just come to know; That chunk of info might be biased, from unreliable source or having some impurities added by middle channel; Control, control and control yourself; Even don’t pass a single comment, taking some action is far away; Make sure the cent percent authenticity of source and actual context;

Remember your one word or small action as sudden reaction may results in irrecoverable harm to your relations or to trust level between you and your associates; Don’t conclude anything having first chunk of knowledge or what apparently look like;

Give time to time;

Time is a big healer, it’s true; But only when we give some time to time; If something isn’t in your favor, or you are stuck in such situation where noting seems in your hands; let it go as it is; give some time to passby till things get little stable and you may be in position to have some next step;

It’s an everyday experience that our early decisions or steps create more mess and hence results in losing those few percent chance/hope of our favor that we could cash after few time; Give time to time and hope for the best; If the under-considered matter is favorable for you, sooner of later you will be victorious; Patience, pray and faith is real essence;

Be dual; Yes its true;

Yes; Look so awkward at first but yes its true; Don’t let your face or eyes or your facial expressions to act as projector for your inside world; Don’t let your feelings to come out at your face, or to reflect by your tone or by your

routine; Remember, there are very few, really VERY few who really care about you, your problems and got tense when you are down; Everyone is busy in his/her life; Might be they say some good words to you, send you some good texts, give you courage but after that its you who left alone with your  problems;

I haven’t any doubt about my friends who are always there when I’m sad, when I feel down; They are Allah Almighty’s blessings in my life; Without them, I can’t survive; but its such a bitter truth that its you who have to take care of your problems or the hurdles of your life; Its not in my case, its for everyone; Other can only push you for some span of time but its you who face the problem; So be relax in front of others; “All is Well” is best policy; When you have to tackle your problems, why to disturb others? Be fresh, relax and calm; buried deep inside you whatever is going bad;

Again, there are very few, (when I say “very” I really mean that) who feel your pain, feel your disturbance; Don’t lose them; For rest of the world, “Ya everything is great;”

Always be humble; Find time for others;

A one and only single way to live up your soul or your inner is to be humble; Not only in front of Allah Almighty, but with everyone around you; Either elder to you, your peers, juniors or those who are some how low in living as compare to you; Let them realize that you are here with them; Make your presence as a helping hand, a kind shelter, or atleast a good listener who can listen to them when no one is there to share with;

Use soft tone while talking to others; Give respect to everyone; Think for others more then you; Might be you have to face some kind of loss but just let it go; Your timely or long last loss will be adjusted with the Allah Almighty’s reward very soon; And i think this kind of business is never is lose;

Don’t miss a chance to get prayers;

We don’t know how much someone is close to Allah Almighty; Few words uttered by someone can turn one’s life to totally opposite or favorable terms; So always be humble and don’t miss any single chance to get prayers from others; We don’t know that the blessings in our life are either the results of our good deeds or we are granted by someone prayer;

Who knows the few good words, someone just said for us might be so valuable for Allah Almighty that HE just change our whole life pattern, just throw all our sorrow and problems out of our life; Is there anything impossible for HIM? Indeed nothing; So don’t miss any prayer;

There are hell lot of things to share, to write under this head; I wish for a very happy and successful life for everyone; May Allah forgive our sins and show us the right path that leads to ultimate prosperity; I’m very much hopeful for my goal, for my plan and I’m pretty much sure i’ll victorious one day;

Happy 2011;

    very nice aasim 🙂

    some really nice advices from one hell of a mature mind 🙂

    My comments : be dual to the outside world n be outspoken specially to your frnds n family.Discuss your probs with your family members coz they do care more than u ever thought.To your frnds: discuss any issues you have with them and listen to there critics with open heart.

    Great words Aasim!!
    You’ve sure gained a lot of experience from life and taking the time to write some words of guidance for those who havn’t, is indeed an appreciable step.
    I wish you all the very best in life and hope we can all learn to spread some positivity around us 🙂 by our words and actions, by setting a perfect example of what we’re meant to teach. I beleive if even a single person gains some positive aspect due to our life, we’re successful in giving a meaning to our existence. Good luck and Keep it Up!!

    Nice work Asim. From my point of view ‘Be dual’ doesn’t always apply, its right in case of social relationship. But it does not apply professionally.
