Posted on Updated on

Here is a quick way to delete all .svn files from a particular directory and all its child directories;

Open your terminal, navigate to the directory from where you want to delete .svn files;

Its good to show all hidden files first;

Type the following command;

rm -rf `find . -type d -name .svn

Thats it;

Update 28.May.2k13
You can also use the followoing command for the same purpose;

Update 21.July.2k11
This command will not entertain those directories which has space in their name;
Anyone can solve this issue?
