Storage Issue with iOS-5 And iCloud;

Hello everyone ..

Now a days, we are noticing that many people are getting rejection from AppStore due to storage issue; I looked into this issue and here are my findings regarding iOS-5 and iCloud;

When we install our application in device, we have three main directories in our application space

  • <Application_Home>/Documents
  • <Application_Home>/Library/Caches
  • <Application_Home>/tmp

EXOdesk, Your Virtual Desk;

Something that will change everything on your desk; I’m just loving the concept;

EXOpc has posted a video of its EXOdesk — an interactive desk environment that lets you do all sorts of tasks on a virtual space on your desk — in action and it looks amazing. The actual device is a tabletop computer, somewhat similar to Microsoft Surface, offering 40 inches of high definition space, where you can manipulate virtual objects by touching them and dragging them around.

Java 1.7 G1 Garbage Collector;

Hi All;
Hope everything is going good at your desks;

Last night, I was reading new features in Java 1.7 and found some updates in garbage collection mechanism; There are many updates in 1.7 ranges from core vm, i18n, Nimbus for Swings and other enhancements; We have already discussed the updates in GC for Java SE 6 Update 14; You can find them here; In Java 1.7 have a new garbage collection strategy called G1, which is short for Garbage First. It has been experimentally launched in the Java 1.6 update 14 to replace the regular Concurrent Mark and Sweep Garbage Collectors with increased performance.

Google Revamping his theme;

There were some changes in look & feel of goole services, that I has been noticing from last month; The Calendar and gmail has revamped; According to official blogs, it will take nearly next 2,3 months for final shape;

Don’t know but right now its just look like a student project for me; Overall theme, color scheme, alignment;
